Cabin at Torpoåsen, Ål, Lykka is idyllically located at 950 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views and immediate access to beautiful hiking terrain. Here, you can enjoy sunny days from morning to evening in peaceful surroundings with a secluded location away from neighboring cabins – perfect for those seeking privacy and true mountain tranquility.

Torpoåsen offers a wide range of family-friendly activities all year round. During summer, you’ll find well-marked hiking trails and excellent cycling opportunities on both gravel roads and forest paths. The area is home to several great fishing lakes, including Nordre Øknevatn, Breisettjern, Steintjern and Buhovdvatnet, known for healthy trout populations. Fishing permits are available for purchase.

In winter, more than 60 km of groomed cross-country ski trails are prepared in gentle, family-friendly terrain, with ski tracks located close to the cabin. There are also several popular sledding hills in the area, including Øknin, which features both a fire pit and a grill hut – a favorite for children and adults alike. Ål town center and Ål Ski Center are only about 20 km away.

The cabin has three bedrooms with a total of 8 beds and is ideal for families. It features a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with shower and toilet, and a cozy living room with a fireplace – perfect for unwinding after an active day in the mountains. Outside, you’ll find a spacious terrace with outdoor furniture, where you can enjoy the views, the sunshine, and peaceful evenings in the fresh mountain air.
