Description

Cabin in the Sørbøl mountain area - Flå. This cabin with fantastic view is located at 770 meters above sea level.
20 km to the familypark, Bjørneparken (bear park) in Flå and 1 hour driving to Norefjell. Great opportunities for various nature activities. Here you can find cross-country trails right outside the door during the winter, and hiking terrain in the summer and fall. 

The area around the cabin offers beautiful cross-country skiing terrain with varied trails suitable for all skill levels. Suggested ski trips:

• Child- and family-friendly loop through beautiful scenery, mostly flat and gently undulating terrain with mountain views. The trail starts 50 meters from the cabin and winds 2–3 km around the cabin area.

• The Adventure Trail – a marked route that begins right next to the cabin, with about 3 kilometers of downhill skiing through open forest terrain. It continues through Skarsdalen and into Vassfaret, further up Hallingdal, via Golsfjellet and on to Hemsedal – with many options for detours along the way. Go as far as you like.

• Mountain trail via a shelter located north of the cabin area. A groomed loop that takes you up to the open mountain plateau. In good weather, you can continue freely into the high mountains, for example to Ørneflag – or even spend the night at the tourist cabin Storekrak and return the next day.

• Mountain trail – a narrower groomed trail west of Solheimselvi also leads up to the open mountain. A great opportunity for light off-piste skiing through sparse forest on the way back.

The main trails are machine-groomed, and side trails are groomed by snowmobile. The trail network is well maintained by the Vassfarfjellet trail team, and grooming updates are available live on skisporet.no 

It’s about a 1-hour drive to Norefjell, where you'll find an 18-hole golf course and Norefjell Ski Resort, offering alpine slopes of international standard.
In winter, you can access groomed hiking and cross-country skiing trails directly from the cabin area.

2 persons can sleep on 2 single mattresses on a loft without standing height. Great for children.
There is a double mattress (for 2 persons) in the sleeping alcove over the sofa in the living room.
