Rent an Ålhytte at Sørbølfjell in Flå, at 770 meters. Sveheim has a fantastic view towards Høgevarde in the south, and with the well-known windows in Ålhytta, you have a view all around the cabin. Here there are many hiking opportunities throughout the year.

Cross-country ski trails are right outside the door. During the winter, you can take long, beautiful trips into the mountains if you enjoy randonee or cross-country skiing with mountain skis. Ski trails are groomed around the cabin area and westwards towards Skarsdalen. There are also many great sledding opportunities right outside the cabin.

If you want to go alpine skiing, it is about 30 km to Turufjell Ski Centre: https://www.turufjell.no/skisenter/.
It is now possible to drive via Skarsdalen, so you don’t need to go down to National Road 7

During the summer, you can take beautiful hikes towards Sørbølnatten and Sørbølfjell. The hikes are suitable for both experienced mountain enthusiasts and families. There are many streams and lakes in the area for fishing (remember to buy a fishing permit) and swimming. There are also swimming opportunities a bit further down the terrain at Veåstjern, where a bathing dock has been established. Alternatively, a swim in Lake Krøderen is recommended. The place is ideal for families with children and people who love hiking.

From the cabin, it is only 20 km to Bjørneparken in Flå and 1.5 hours to Langedrag Nature Park. It is approx. 1 hour's drive to Norefjell, where you will find an 18-hole golf course and Norefjell ski centre. This cabin has a perfect location with approx. 2 hours drive from Oslo.

The cabin has two bedrooms and a loft. Bathroom with toilet, shower, and underfloor heating. Cozy corner with plenty of space for the whole family and the popular daybed from Ålhytta. Wood stove that quickly and effectively warms up the living room. Kitchen with a combination fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and waffle iron. There's a coffee grinder and French press in the kitchen.
