Kilodden is beautifully located right by Bonsvatn, with stunning views of the mountains. Cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs are right outside the door.
In summer and autumn, you can follow marked hiking trails and enjoy the tranquility and views of the mountains. The area offers excellent terrain for hiking and great fishing opportunities year-round. The cabin is ideal for families who want to combine outdoor activities with nature experiences. From the cabin, it’s only a 30-minute drive (summer only) to Gaustatoppen (1883 m), one of Norway’s most famous peaks. If you prefer not to hike to the top, you can take the lift at Gaustablikk. The road via Tuddal to Gaustablikk is closed in winter.
Tuddal is a peaceful high-mountain area on the sunny side of Gaustatoppen, perfect for those seeking nature and fresh air. Here you’ll find mountains, forested hills, rivers, and waterfalls, as well as a cultural landscape with old buildings in Bondal and Tuddal Bygdetun. From Tuddal, several of Telemark’s most famous attractions can be reached within 20–60 minutes.
The cabin has a cozy living room with a fireplace and comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing after an active day outdoors. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and an annex, providing a total of 11 beds, as well as a bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside, you’ll find a large, sunny terrace, balcony, and a beautiful outdoor area with direct access to the lake. The view from the terrace is truly unforgettable!

There is an aluminum boat available at the cabin, with space for 6 people. This is included in the price.
