The area also offers great hiking opportunities in the beautiful nature, whether you prefer hiking, cycling, or just a leisurely walk in the fresh air. The Eira River is right by the cabin. The salmon and sea trout river is known for its rich fishing.

It is 5 km to Eikesdalsvatnet, which is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and offers spectacular nature with majestic mountains rising straight up from the water. You will find the famous Mardalsfossen with a total fall height of 655 meters about a 30-minute drive from the holiday home. The waterfall is especially impressive in the summer months when it is at its most powerful. A hiking trail leads you close to the waterfall, where you can feel the spray up close.

The holiday home is a fantastic starting point for trips to well-known attractions in the area, including:

• Aursjøvegen - a spectacular mountain road that winds through magnificent mountain scenery. The road is a popular route for both drivers and cyclists, offering fantastic viewpoints and several opportunities for nature experiences.
