The island offers great hiking opportunities, including a hike to Skulen mountain, which, at 492 meters above sea level, provides panoramic views of the surrounding area. The coastline around Longva has several small coves and beaches that are perfect for swimming and relaxation. The quiet roads on the island, as well as the nearby islands, are ideal for cycling through scenic surroundings. The region is also known for excellent fishing opportunities – both from land and boat – with access to both fjords and open sea.
In winter, cross-country ski trails are right outside the cabin. For those interested in alpine skiing, Ørskogfjellet Ski Center is just a one-hour drive away.

The island is connected to the mainland by bridges and tunnels, so access to the vacation home is easy.
