Stadheim 4 is a back to basics 35m2 cabin located in the Moldskredalen valley, approximately 8 km from the nearest village Hellesylt where there is a grocery store. Stadheim 4 is 1 of 4 cabins available for rent near Hellesylt. The village Geiranger can also be reached by a 50 minute, scenic ferry journey.
This cabin is located on a summer pasture, which is still in operation, approx. 450 metres above sea level. It is of basic standard without electricity and connected water. Water must be fetched in a small stream and lighting is by candles. The kitchenette has a refrigerator and stove on gas/propane. The heating is by a large fireplace and a propane oven in the living room. There is an organic toilet in the cellar. The road from Hellesylt is partially a gravel road. Outside the cabin there are fantastic views, and the area is ideal for hiking and mountain chill.
The area is excellent for experiencing several of Norways famous tourist attractions, such as the Geiranger fjord (8 km), the valley Norangsdalen. The Union Øye Hotel is a 30 km and the city of Ålesund is 80 km. Day trips to Trollstigen and the Briksdalsbreen glacier are also recommended.

In addition to the rent a security deposit will be charged depending on the cost of your stay. This is a security for missing final cleaning, replacement of keys and damage. NOK 1.000,- for rent up to NOK 5.000,-. NOK 2.000,- for cabin with rent up to NOK 10.000. NOK 3.000,-, for cabin with rent over NOK 10.000,-. This will be refunded after your stay.
